·         Seen (concrete)
Eg. Book
·         Unseen (abstract)
Eg. Thought
Definition
Noun is the name of a person, place, thing, or idea.
Eg.
·         John is the leader. (person)
·         We live in Bogor. (place)
·         A hammer is a useful tool. (thing)
·         Peace in the world is our goal. (idea)

Classes
Proper Noun
Proper noun is names specific person, place, thing, or idea.
Eg. We sang “I Gotta Feeling”


Compound Noun
Made up of more than one word.
Eg.
·         Golden Gate Bridge (thing)
·         Bogor City (place)
·         John richard (person)
·         Black Eyed Peas (thing)

 Features
·         Determener = many apples , a song, four pizzas, the story.

·         Singular or plural = one pencil, one book, five pencils, three teeth.

·         Ownership or Relationship = boy’s , boys’

·         Suffix = -ation, -ism, -ment, -ness, -once
  Eg. Imagine + ation = imagination

·         Countable Nouns = kata benda yang bisa di hitung (boy,book, etc.)
